Eggnog Daiquiri

Recipe:

  • Build in Boston Shaker
    • 2 oz. dark rum
    • 1 whole egg
    • 1.5 oz. sugar
    • 0.25 oz. coffee liquor (Mr. Black)
    • 3 oz whole milk
    • 2 oz. heavy cream
  • Dry shake for at least 45 seconds
  • Add ice and shake for an additional 20 seconds to fully chill
  • Strain and serve in chilled rocks glass
  • Garnish with cinnamon powder

Why it works:

Because this recipe uses an entire egg, you get the thick mouth feel that you expect from eggnog, while the dark rum and coffee liquor give it a complicated flavor that you can’t quite place.
